For custom orders, the following terms apply:
- Ownership: Serene Illustrations retains the full rights and ownership of all custom artwork created, including but not limited to sketches, digital files, and final illustrations, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
- Usage Rights: The client purchasing the custom artwork is granted a non-exclusive license to use the artwork for personal use only, unless otherwise specified. Any commercial use, reproduction, or distribution of the artwork requires additional licensing and permission from Serene Illustrations.
- Modifications: 2-3 minor revisions to the custom artwork may be requested based on the original requirements and approved color mockup. Major revisions or alterations beyond the scope of the original agreement may incur additional fees.
- Attribution: When sharing or displaying the custom artwork online or in print, the client agrees to credit Serene Illustrations as the artist. This includes but is not limited to social media posts, websites, and promotional materials.
- Confidentiality: Serene Illustrations respects the privacy of its clients and will not disclose any confidential information shared during the custom order process without prior consent.
- Process: Upon payment, you will receive a rough sketch for approval, giving you an initial layout idea (90% refundable). Following approval, a color mockup will be created for your review (80% refundable). Once the color mockup is approved, the custom piece will commence (non-refundable). After completion, you’ll receive a photo for review and up to 2-3 revisions within the initial order requirements and approved mockup. Any additional changes may incur a fee.
